Regular Meeting (Mary Wing)

Mary will talk about "Working Together for Pain Relief". 

Mary developed chronic neuropathic pain in 2004 following spinal surgery. In 2007, Mary enrolled at Flinders University to study chronic condition management as a distraction from the ongoing pain. In 2016, Mary was asked if she would like to volunteer to set up support groups for people with chronic pain. The groups are educational as well as providing peer support for those in need. There are now 5 trained facilitators and the groups are funded by the Adelaide Primary Health Network.
