All you need to do is drive down any street to see the number of unwanted electrical and electronic goods discarded on the footpath. Disposing responsibly of these items is a rapidly growing challenge and is harming our environment. There is an urgent need to ensure that this equipment is collected and recycled, due to the toxic and hazardous material contained. When this material goes to landfill it causes soil and water contamination that is harmful to our environment And what's more, the easy majority - up to 95% - of the materials can be reused or recycled.
