 | On Tuesday 19th March, our Guest Speaker was Club Member Rajni Lalsinghani, who gave a very interesting talk on a book she has recently written and published titled “Survivor”. Rajni is seen here with Club President Bill Rawlins. Rajni has been a member of our club for some 18 years and is an IT consultant working in many parts of the world. Amitabh survived a terrible accident on the set of a movie in Mumbai in 1988 which resulted in a ruptured spleen and he very nearly died as a result of that injury. Hence the title Survivor chosen by Rajni, as Amitabh
became one of India’s great actors with an estimated wealth of $400M.
Rajni took a year off her IT consultancy work to write the book and has financed and managed the publishing herself and financed an initial print run of 5000 copies. The book is available online through Amazon for $67 a copy.
