Public Registration 2026 Rotary Walk for Respect
Walk for Respect 2026. Victoria Square to Elder Park, Adelaide. Saturday 7 November 2026
The Walk for Respect is an annual, peaceful and non-confrontational walk that brings people together in solidarity and support while raising awareness of coercive control and physical violence in our society. These issues affect women, men, children and even pets, touching families and communities across Australia.
The event highlights the many dimensions of Rotary's commitment to peace. While Rotary is widely recognised for its work in promoting global peace and understanding, it is equally committed to addressing the challenges that exist within our own communities. The Walk for Respect is an opportunity to stand together and say that respect, safety and dignity matter for everyone.
Our club coordinator, Sally Willoughby, is organising participation by our Club members and friends. We hope to walk as a group and, where possible, travel to and from the event together.
