On Monday Feb 1, Jack Woodford visited and presented to the Dartmouth East Rotary Club at our regular club meeting.

Jack is the outgoing youth exchange student from Dartmouth for next year.  Mc and Bre interviewed Jack about a month ago and were very impressed with him.
He is a grade 11 student at DHS and lives by Lake Banook.  Active in the Dartmouth community, he volunteers at Margaret's House, plays the bagpipes and enjoys Biathalon.  Jack is also an active scout and is now an adventurer.
He went to a 6-week exchange to Quebec last year that planted the travelling bug in him.  He will be participated with the service trip to the Dominican Republic this year and he can't wait to explore a new culture.
For the youth exchange,  Jack would love to have the opportunity to go to an exchange to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Netherlands, or Germany.  Wherever he ends up, he's excited to learn a new language and be immersed in a new culture.
We, Rotarians, were delighted to have an opportunity to not only meet Jack but to also ask him questions and get to know him a bit.
