BRIDGEWATER ROTARIANS TO SPONSOR A LOCAL STUDENT IN THE ADVENTURE IN CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM

The Adventure in Citizenship program brings together a select group of 200 students from across Canada to learn about Canadian democratic institutions through meetings with political leaders, senior officials and each other in Ottawa. This is the first year the Rotary Club of Bridgewater & District is participating in the program and the Club will select a student from either Bridgewater Jr./Sr. High School or Park View Education Centre to send to Ottawa.  Full details on this program including an information sheet and application form are now available on the Club web page under the "Adventure in Citizenship" tab. There is also a poster which summarizes the program. Feel free to forward the poster to interested students. Please note the deadline to apply is February 10, 2017.
