The Rotary Club of Old Fort (RCOF) has launched an initiative aimed at encouraging responsible waste management and environmental stewardship among students. The Recycling Programme for cans and bottles, a partnership between the RCOF, IMPAC Waste Management and Cans for Kids, will be implemented in various schools across Western New Providence over the coming weeks.
It is hoped that the project will not only serve as a teaching aid, but will lead to the development of other community initiatives with an environmental focus.
The Rotary Club of Old Fort wishes to thank IMPAC Waste Management, Cans for Kids and the administration and students of Windsor School Bahamas for their enthusiasm and support.
