Come join us for our regular Club Luncheon Meeting.
Registration will be open until 12:00pm on Friday, Feb 3rd.
Our speaker for this week will be Mohamed Abdallah, Executive Director of Connections for Seniors.
Connections for Seniors is a non-profit organization located in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. While their primary objective is to provide emergency accommodations and services to older adults who are or are becoming homeless through no fault of their own, they have nine other programs which promote dignity and self-efficacy while helping seniors navigate complex systems linked to health, housing, legal and financial matters that ultimately impact quality of life. Founded in 2018, their client base is growing exponentially and will continue to grow and develop programs to meet both urgent, emergent need as well as prevention programs to ensure that no senior returns to homelessness.
