Center for Natural Capital Chairman and Nelson County Winemaker Al Weed, Key Log Economics Principal Anna Perry, and Center Executive Director Michael Collins, will provide a brief on the State of Virginia’s Rural Economy and how historic and ecological asset restoration is enhancing the Roanoke area economy and other regions of Virginia. Estimates of the economic benefits of the proposed Rapidan Blueway and comprehensive Rapidan and Robinson River floodplain restoration will also be provided.
