TIm Moubray, Director, OC Parks & Rec

Director Tim Moubray will talk about two new OC Parks & Recreation projects: Skydog Orange Dog Park and the new Unionville park site 

A little background:  Tim was born and raised in the Town of Orange. Went to JMU in 1984 and remained in the Valley after college, working at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center and Harrisonburg Park and Recreation before returning to Orange in December, 2011, to become the County's Parks and Recreation Director.
Tim and wife Chris have three daughters and are proud new grandparents.

Accomplishments since becoming Director: 
      ♦Annual Liberty Ride horseback event with Montpelier 
      ♦Creation of the Orange County Parks and Recreation Foundation         
      ♦'Playin’ in the Park' event that brought back free entertainment/fireworks event for the County*
      ♦Addition of walking trail at Barboursville Community Park     
      ♦Revitalization of Booster Park   
      ♦Addition of disc golf course in the Lee Industrial Park
