Rotarian David Laylin hosts guest speaker Bryan Hofmann, Deputy Director, Friends of the Rappahannock, to report on the status of the Rappahannock watershed (especially the Rapidan section) and plans for improvements.
Note from Bryan: "We are actually in the process of developing a Rapidan River Report Card. We anticipate this being completed in fall 2021. We are also organizing a "state of the Rappahannock" symposium slated for September 2021 which will include multiple presentations from a wide range of natural resource professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders; all focused on the Rappahannock River watershed.
Bryan will give an overview of "currently completed report cards, the Rappahannock River Roundtable (a broad coalition of conservation partners working to improve land conservation and water quality in the Rappahannock River Basin https://www.facebook.com/RappahannockRiverRoundtable), issues facing the Rappahannock and Rapidan, and the work our organization and partners are doing, and have available, to improve conditions."
