As most people know Lamington Drives have traditionally been held in Australia and New Zealand as a means of fundraising.

This Australia Day, thanks to Rotary District 9675, instead of distributing lamingtons to raise funds the Rotary Club of Concord along with the Rotary Clubs of Sydney Inner West, Iron Cove and Five Dock will be participating in a Lamington Drop to thank the very valuable and hard working staff and first responders at Concord Hospital, Concord Fire Station and Burwood Police Station for the wonderful work they do keeping our community safe and responding to emergencies.

Members from each of our clubs will be meeting on Tues morning to collect and drop 860 lamingtons and coffee vouchers to these wonderful workers.  Watch our website and Facebook page for pics of the activity on the day.

Volunteers are to meet at 10:00 am at Peter Reynolds house for a COVID briefing and to load lamingtons and banners into vehicles to transport to each drop point.
