Sussex Rotary On the Web

In 2005, the Rotary Club of Sussex reached another milestone when they joined the world wide web with their first site.

The project was a vocational service project undertaken by Saint John visiting Rotarian JC Robert Lockhart. Robert collected history from the Club members and worked with the Multimedia Class of 2005, CTI, of the Computer Training Institute in Saint John.

This was a win-win situation for the Club, the community, and the Multimedia Class. Rotary got its first web site and could share the good work it does with the community, and the class got to work on a real project and see their hard work go on the web.

A special thanks extended to Judy Williams, the class instructor, who took great interest in the project and gave assistance with the conversion and technical support as required after implementation until all the bugs were found.

Robert became the Club’s webmaster after the implementation and made many additions through the years to capture the history and activities of the Club.
