The Rotary Club of Sussex was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of one of our members, Barry Reicker, on June 17th, 2023 (pictured at left, with Past President and Barry's Membership Sponsor, Angie Cummings)
Barry was a recent addition to our Rotary Membership; a stepson of long-standing and involved Rotarian Bob Black. We are honoured that Barry was interred wearing his Rotary Membership Pin.
Like most things, Barry jumped into our Rotary Club with both feet and immediately got involved in our BrewFest Fundraiser. He and his lovely partner Jenn were our Grill Masters for the fundraising event and fostered many friendships that day.
Though his membership was short, Barry left a lasting impact on our Club and his legacy will continue. A donation to The Rotary International Foundation has been made in his memory.
Barry is survived by his young son, Frankie. A Go Fund Me Page has been created to help support Frankie's future and education.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Barry’s many close friends and family at this time.
