Dale Carnegie Business Group

On April 18, 2016, Rotarian Erik Homenick introduced special guest speaker Paul Kearley.

Paul is President and Master Trainer of Impact Business Communications based in Sussex. Paul’s business is affiliated with the Dale Carnegie Business Group that works on Communication Development, Leadership Skills, and Sales Training.

Paul Kearley discussed the distinction between attitude and skills in successful workplaces. The conclusion was, “Hire for Attitude but Train for Skills.”

Paul told several stories about his experiences of going into businesses and training staff to improve relationships and help employers and employees become more effective in communication. When employees are engaged, then the level of productivity goes up.

Paul has written five eBooks and 360 blog articles. Starting next Tuesday, Paul will be offering a new course in Sussex, and there are still a few spaces open. Rotarian Greg Keith thanked Paul for his motivational presentation.
