At the District Conference in Fredericton in May, 2003, President Bill accepted a Presidential Citation on behalf of our club .

According to Bill, Saint John Rotary earned this recognition for having successfully attained the goals set at the beginning of our year on July 1st,2002.

Membership: We set goal for 5 new members in 2002-2003. Year to date we are looking at six new Rotarians joining Saint John Club!

International Project: At the first of the year we set a goal to pledge $15,000 to PolioPlus. Rotary Saint John has committed to contribute $21,000 with 100 per cent of the clubs active members participating. This is the highest club pledge and participation rate in District 7810.

Public Relations: We committed to promote Rotary within our local community. I believe we have had some success in doing so, albeit, more could be done and must be done to get the great word of Rotary out to the community.

Promote Fellowship: During the year Rotarians from Saint John Club participated in an International Fellowship Exchange with Kansas City USA. Several social projects were held including a very successful Annual Charter Night!

During the year Rotarian's of Saint John Rotary "Sowed the Seeds of Love" to cultivate peace and improve the lives of those around the world.
