On October 21st a fund raising party took place at Market Square for the TRC. The Atrium Doors opened at 8 pm, with Admission by Donation - All proceeds going for the Resource Centre for Youth
Details of the event read as follows;
We are donning the lederhosen, striking up the oompa band, tapping the keg and letting the ale flow for the inaugural OktoberFest celebrations! As proud host of the fundraising event for the Resource Centre for Youth, The Hardman Group Limited and The Rotary Club of Saint John welcome partnerships with Hilton Saint John, Saint John Ale House, Grannan's, and Moosehead to deliver an evening full of Bavarian traditions!
In true OktoberFest fashion, the event will also be launched with the official Tapping of the Keg Ceremony, the Wholesteiners, a full-piece oompa band, German delicacies, and oodles of ale!
Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to support the Resource Center for Youth.
