On June 26, incoming President Don LeBlanc presented President Mike with his Past President's plaque in recognition of his year as President.
In his closing remarks as President, Mike reflected on the accomplishments of the past year, thanking everyone for their contribution and support.
Accomplishments included the following:
1. Club recognition with the district membership award, top growth in the district and the presidential citation award presented by the district governor.
2. Membership in the club grew by 19 or net 10 new members.
3. An orientation package was prepared this year , made available in the new member kits on CD and 2 orientation sessions were held with new members this past fall / winter.

7. There were 8 Fireside meetings this past year, with several other fellowship outings such as the New President's BBQ, Oktoberfest at the Old Bavaria, River Boat Cruise, Christmas Luncheon, etc.
8. The club also supported the Boys & Girls club with the Family Fun Day BBQ and served during the Children's Christmas party.
9. Mike introduced the weekly meeting recap as a way to keep all members up to date and informed about club activities, and it will continue to be done next year with the support of Bev Williamson.
Mike concluded his remarks with the comment that he hoped that he has left the club in a stronger place than when he began his year, that he was the catalyst for strong growth for the future of the club and that he expressed the club is about its members and not just the president. To quote, he said "We are the club, we make the club what it is".
