I would like to thank Past President Guy Richards and his Board for a job well done and I hope this year will be as productive. Since being sworn in as President on June 28th, I have started to realize the magnitude and commitment this position requires.

As Rotary International embarks on its 100th anniversary we are reminded of this year's slogan of "Celebrate Rotary".

The main focus for our District Rotary Clubs this year will center around 3 objectives:

1) Membership growth

2) Polio Plus commitments and

3) Annual Program fund.

I look forward to serving my fellow Rotarians this coming year. It will be tough to top the free golf shirts given out by Guy Richards but I will try.

Jay Kimball

President
