On June 21st, 2008 at 11:00 am Rotarians gathered at Coronation Court for the official handing over of the many, many books that had been collected for the Cresent Valley children as well as a donation of $500 to the Story Tent.
Marylyn Sing, chair person for the event said "Today we had a wonderful time handing over close to 1,000 books!
The children that were enjoying the reading tent today were very happy and quite impressed with how many books were arriving."
