Canada Day Celebration Event

For the first meeting of the new Rotary year we have planned a special club meeting on Thursday, 27th of June from 5-7 PM at the Bill Johnson Memorial Park activity centre!

This will be a Canada Day celebration for our new refugee families.  We have just learned that the towns newest refugee will be arriving the day before.

This a partnership with the Sackville Refugee Response Coalition (SRRC). The event is being organised jointly with SRRC - Stacey and Sue F are our reps.

There will be a cover charge of $5 to cover the expense of getting pizza from Goya's. Salads, refreshments and a special Canada cake will be provided.

The town has waived the rental fee for the activity centre as their contribution. The Mayor and President of MtA have been invited as our guests.

This is a rain or shine event!  Note: there will be no morning meeting on the 27th

This will be a fun event with our refugee families and an opportunity for us to 'connect' with both them and the SRRC members.
