Featured Presentation: Amy Freeman, 2014 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year
Amy, along with her husband Dave, recently completed living for a year in the Boundary Waters to raise awareness of threats to and to advocate for the preservation of this beloved wilderness destination in Minnesota. Amy’s presentation will be followed by a book signing of their recently published “A Year in the Boundary Waters”.
Presentation: Lebanon Hills – Preserving Nature Close to Home
Dakota County natural resources staff will present on natural resource restoration efforts at Lebanon Hills. There will be time for Q&A and discussion staff during this event.
This event is free and open to the public.
Doors open at 6pm; seating is limited.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
