Kick-Start's Karen Groves will host a Sewathon on Saturday, February 3 from 9:30-noon to benefit the non-profit Days for Girls.
A fellow Rotarian, Judy Johnson, will lead the project. She’s involved with Days for Girls and has organized 60+ sewathons! We’ll be cutting and sewing hygiene kits. Rotarians (and others) will deliver these kits to girls in 20 countries, most recently South Sudan and Guatemala. Judy brings all the supplies; we provide the labor.
