Te Awamutu

New Zealand
How would you like to go to new places, meet new people, try new foods, sample new wines ……. and all in your own Club.

Here's how it works. First, you must decide if you prefer being a guest or a host. Being a guest is simple. Sign up, be willing to bring a dish or two, work up an appetite, and show up at the address given to you. Being a host requires a little more effort. You agree to host a meal in your home for a set number of guests, say 6. You provide a meat dish then you wait and see who shows up at the door. It's all great fun and a wonderful way to get to know others in our Rotary family. The host will not know who is coming to their home and the guests do not know who's home they are attending. Who doesn't love a good mystery? Are you curious yet?

This is an event designed for our membership to become better acquainted. The premise is a group of “hosts” entertain a random and secret group of guests.

The Hosts will be chosen and notified of the number attending their dinner (not to exceed 6 persons). The names and assignments of the guests will be kept confidential until the day before the dinner. The coordinator (Kylie) will email or call the guests and let them know the address of dinner. The host will provide the meat dish; the guests will be assigned either a salad & rolls dish, vegetable dish or dessert. The tighter the secret the more fun. Let the fun begin!! It is a partners' night but that does not preclude members from attending on their own.

Register on ClubRunner (or send Kylie an email) and in the comments section, pleae state whether you prefer to be a 'HOST' or a 'GUEST' and also advise any dietary requirements
