The Rotary Club of Albury Hume, in collaboration with Albury TAFE NSW, has launched a community project aimed at equipping Albury TAFE students with practical skills for repairing computer devices. The refurbished desktops and laptops will be donated to community members in need, such as primary school students, high school students, university students, job seekers and much more.
This initiative helps students learn valuable repair skills while contributing to the community's well-being by providing technology to those who lack access. Additionally, by refurbishing and redistributing these devices, the project promotes sustainability and extends the life cycle of electronics, supporting a more environmentally friendly approach.
This project would not be made possible without the dedication and support of the staffing Team at TAFE NSW. Special thank you to Kevin Liao for his invaluable guidance and support with the students.
