Youth Exchange

Each year, 2 students are chosen from our local high schools to travel to another country while our Rotary Club hosts 2 international students. These full-year sponsored students are selected from applications submitted to their guidance councilors. Students being sponsored must live in the Beresford or Bathurst area to ensure a maximum school benefit for incoming students. Parents of outgoing students are required to pay for their child's exchange. Our club provides a monthly allowance to the incoming students, pays their registration to Rotary events as well as their meals at weekly meetings. Each student is required to deposit $500 in a separate account in case of emergencies.
