Program
Paul McMenemy spoke with great affection about our new Prez Linda.

Linda and Guy had a great time at Toronto convention unlike other past Prez 's who have went to  Atlanta ,Australia, Korea  and Brazil, who next year go to Germany and then Hawaii. ( no sign of jealousy) Many good speakers who talked about the  need for clean water  and literacy.  The House of Friendship was a popular place.  Rotarions from California and Australia  that went to the Old Marina Bar said it was their highlight of the convention.
Something to be proud of  as 2.5 billion children have been immunized for Polio.

Linda met a new friend that she hopes to bring out as a guest. A young lady  that survived Rwanda genocide and has been educated at WLU.

Linda spoke about her Rotary story.  ( you might be asked so think about it)  Noah introduced her to Rotary.   Linda had been looking for something for a few years.   Prior to that she went to Sir Lanka to help build houses.  The hard work and the love of the people is something that has stuck with her and how blessed we are.  She felt a need to reach out and do something.

Linda spoke about Engagement  ( not the Codi kind)  She wants higher attendance at weekly meetings.  More club involvement in projects etc.  Attendance at committee meetings will count. I think there is more to come on how we send this to Heidi

There is a survey coming from Linda next week.

Weekly Pods    When you are on a pod you must get a replacement.  Find a buddy in the club.  Show up at 1200.  Read Larry B email .  Get Bio for speaker from website.  The Bell is in a bag in podium.  Put Bell away after in the bag in podium.  ( I probably forgot a few...  most important show up)

Linda Goals are to  grow members from 57 to 70.
4 fund raisers
Engagement with the Bridges  on employment.
Work with the city on opiate crisis.
Caitlynn McInyre is going to be liaison with new Rotaract club.
Plan a working  trip similar to Dennis Birleys trip to DR
Have service meetings away from the club monthly
Find a new bulletin editor for the  4th Thursday.  ( pay and benefits are excellent)  Linda and Larry B are accepting applications
Linda and Rotary theme this year  it  is Be the Inspiration.  In her case it is an older brother.... Who inspires you?   Think about it..

Past Prez Paul Codi thanked Prez Linda.   Prez Linda said the club is still immunizing 10 children every week to thank the speaker.
