Katie - The Big Guy Moving Company booked 10 new jobs this week....more on the BGMC later, including a character flaw that was not disclosed during the new member vetting process!
Jim J - Larry donated a picture for an auction with clear instructions NOT to return it if it didn't sell. Well, it didn't sell. But it turns out that it was a rather nice frame and the picture is now a mirror in Jim's bathroom
There is a BoD meeting next Tuesday (3/16) at 7:00pm. all are welcome to attend.
Anyone who would like a little distance social time, we will meet on Saturdays at 11:00am at the GCC (behind by Stanley's) for a light walk around the course, then refreshments/snacks....there was some debate about the snack part....back bacon sandwich's are apparently not on the menu every Saturday - but it should be as far as I am concerned
I missed some of this one, so I hope I don't butcher it....There is a meeting (Heidi will send out more information) on 4/24 on the water shed run off. They are looking for ideas, so if you have some, please share.

We had a new member inducted to the group today - Katie Watson
Paul T sponsored Katie and introduced her. Katie was inducted by Heidi, Brian, Linda and Larissa

Katie has 2 kids, Marcus and Dianna
She loves real estate agents....OK, I get she loves her dad, but real estate agents in general? How was that missed in the vetting??
She was born in Cambridge
She is married for the second time, to a wonderful man! (I was going to make a little joke about if she gets married another time or two, she will actually be just like a real estate agent, but I think that might be a little off colour, so I won't say anything)
Katie makes the best out of every situation, is laid back and is loyal and supportive
She is a business owner

Katie has a Civil Engineering education and has spent most of her professional career working with municipalities - that is until she opened up her business in 2019
She believes that the hardest job of all is being a mom! I think being a mom and a wife is even harder, but who I am to say?
Katie's focus as a business owner is compassion. Moving an be stressful and having compassion for their clients is what they are all about
In addition to being an engineer and business owner, she is also a published auther
She has authored a book "Perfectly Derailed" - A story of a life filled with chaos, motherhood, business and a strong faith that there is more out there!
