Join us for the installation of the Born Learning Trail in La Crescent!
On May 31st, after the Rotary meeting at the Event Center, we will be installing the Born Learning Trail in Old Hickory Park.
Volunteer Tasks include assembling signs, digging post holes, setting foam cement, sidewalk painting (using stencils).
United Way will provide plastic gloves, protective eyewear, paint brushes, hardware, and water. We will need a cordless drill (1 will be fine), post hole diggers (2), levels, and measuring tapes so if you have some that we can use it would be great!
Our project will take 3-4 hours to complete. If we have poor weather the rain date is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd.
