Connect with the Rochester Rotary Risers

For several years Rotary Marketing and Public Relations has been a shared commitment and joint responsibility of all three Rochester clubs: Rochester Rotary Club, Greater Rochester Rotary Club and Rochester Risers Rotary Club. The work of the committee is focused on promoting Rotary and sharing the Rotary story by raising awareness of the many ways Rotary and Rotarians benefit the community. The joint Public Relations and Marketing Committee promotes Rotary (individual clubs continue to promote their own events) and this in turn promotes interaction and fellowship among Rochester Rotarians.
In addition to what each Rotarian does to share the benefits of being a Rotarian with friends and colleagues, the efforts of the Public Relations Committee have actively promoted Rotary and Rotary initiatives in the following ways:
- Press releases and radio spots
- Rotary Holiday Classic
- Ambassadorial and Peace Scholarship opportunities
- STRIVE Program
- Social Media Initiatives
- Articles in the local paper, the Rochester Post Bulletin
- PolioPlus campaign
- Medical supplies to Africa
- STRIVE
- Rotary Holiday Classic
- Member participation in Rotary Visibility
- Logo clothing can be worn as participants in community projects and events, such as, Golf outing, Quarry Hill fall festival, work on Habitat project, and when staffing the Basketball tournament
- Rotary Banners/ signs present when Rotarians participate in community events.
We welcome additional suggestions for new initiatives and ways to be involved.
