Marni Blumfald had been a Registered Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist for over 14 years. She has been a conditioning specialist for over 20 years, training high performance athletes and the regular “weekend warrior”. She has been an equestrian in the horse industry for over 30 years. Marni is on the board of directors for The Animal Rehab Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She teaches the Canine and Equine Physiotherapy courses and assists with the Canine and Equine Cranial Sacral Therapy courses throughout Canada and the USA. She has a full-time human practice with a part-time animal practice.
 
Marni offers an integrative approach to the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain and dysfunction of muscles, joints, fascia and nerves. She has been using various rehabilitation strategies to optimize performance for almost 2 decades. Infrared laser, Kinesiology taping, Active Release Technique, joint mobilization/manipulation, Myofascial Release, Medical Neuromuscular Acupuncture, Electrical Muscular Stimulation and TENS, Cranial Sacral and Visceral Techniques (Osteopathic techniques).
 
Biomechanics is her passion, as only though understanding the ideal movement patterns of the human athlete can one achieve Optimal Performance and normal movement. The Prevention of injuries and dysfunction, and understanding the root cause of an issue is Marni's goal with any treatment.
