Earth Hour: Together we created the biggest hour for Earth - Over 414360 people from 187 Countries
Saturday, March 25th from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm the Rotary Club of Woodbridge participated at Earth Hour organized by the City of Vaughan. Team leader of Vaughan Earth Hour was Rtn. Jamie Maynards.
During the event, local School's Students participated in various activities like: Best banner for Earth Hours won by Elder's Mills High School, Science Fair project, and concerts. Students from the Interact Club of Father Bressani High School prepared paper lanterns that were used by the public during the 1 hour walk around the City Hall's perimeter. The event ended with our President Dr. Abara presenting the Green Hero award to Deb Schultz.
