2008 Rotary Frog Race
Posted by Jamie Maynard
The Rotary Club joined with the Historic Wallace House to host our annual frog race, combined with an interesting and educational river walk.
The event was held on May 31st at 1:00pm.
The event began with a walk, starting at the Wallace House. The group followed the river, learning about some of the natural history of the area. Following the walk, everyone gathered at the Woodbridge Avenue bridge, to watch over 1500 plastic frogs pour over the railing, and into the river below. 20 minutes later, the first frogs crossed the finish line at the Highway 7 bridge.
