Last week we heard from Jen Neumann who's on the Board of Directors of the Cedar Rapids Community School District. Jen discussed different issues that the Cedar Rapids School District has been experiencing and how it is tackling said issues. She also discussed the school districts new "pathways" program.

This week we will hear from the Executive Director of the CSPS(Czech and Slovak Prudential Society) Jason Zbornik. Jason will be sharing the dynamic history of CSPS and it's impact on community development in Cedar Rapids. During the presentation you will learn about the history, legacy and future plans of this innovative nonprofit art center.

There will be no meeting next week as we will be having our monthly service project which is still TBD. I will send out a notification and sign-up sheet once available.
