Last week we had no meeting as we held our service project during Houby Days earlier in May

This week we will hear from Ryan Schlader, who is the Community Outreach Specialist at Linn County Conservation.

Joining Ryan will be Randy Burke, Outdoor Recreation Planner and licensed Landscape Architect for Linn County Conservation. 

Next week we will hear from Kyle Schrader who is the Operations Manager at Prospect Meadows Sports Complex, in Marion.  

Jana Bodensteiner, Development Director at Matthew 25, has decided to be the newest member of Cedar Rapids West Rotary! Make sure to give her a hardy welcome the next time you see her!

I announced it briefly during the May 21st meeting, our very own West Rotarian, Peter Teahen, will be doing a second Flight to End Polio in September of this year. This trip will be around the Atlantic! More details to come!

 

The Shakespeare Gardens, which is a project that the Metro Rotary clubs helped support with a 2 year donation and labor, is having a tour event on June 8th from 11am-1pm!
