We recently received details about a vital event involving one of our own Rotary West members. Iowa City Rotarian John Ockenfels talked about Flight to End Polio, a round-the-world trip he and West Rotarian Peter R. Teahen will take in the spring 2023. Peter joined us briefly from Florida, where he is again working as a volunteer disaster relief coordinator for the Red Cross. John was presented with two hand-made angel wing ribbons by our Liz Durham, for good luck during the trip.
