Robin Brunner from the Ecumenical Community Center attended our meeting the following week to tell us about her organization and receive the check. Their building recently received storm damage so the windfall was extremely fortunate!
In all, more than $24,000 was raised in sponsorship and donations for the LBA Foundation, Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success, and Kirkwood Community College. Funds will be presented to those organizations in the coming months.
