Join us for the second annual Rotarians in the Rough!

This Downtown Rotary-sponsored event is a fundraiser for a local nonprofit organization. Each year, the recipient of the funds raised is voted on by the membership of the club and will assist in planning and day-of-event activities. The golf outing will be a four-person, best-shot tournament with a dinner and awards banquet following play. The Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids (Downtown Rotary) is proud to support area organizations that are doing incredible work. 

This year’s winning nonprofit is Foundation 2 Crisis Services.  Proceeds from the event will be used to support operating costs at their Emergency Youth Shelter. The Emergency Youth Shelter is intended to support run away, homeless, and human-trafficked youth.  They provide the only emergency youth shelter east of Ames in the state of Iowa making it a critical service in our area. The facility is coed and supports up to 17 youth at a time.  Annually, the shelter serves 150 youth.  All net funds raised from registrations and donations to the outing will go directly towards funding Foundation 2's services.
