Vendor Hold Harmless and Liability Agreement

Stratford Day Main Street Festival

Organized by the Stratford Rotary Club

By participating in the Stratford Day Main Street Festival, the Vendor agrees to the following:

  1. The Vendor is fully responsible for its booth, products, equipment, employees, volunteers, and activities during the event.
  2. The Vendor agrees to follow all applicable health, safety, permit, licensing, fire, and local regulations.
  3. The Vendor accepts all responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, theft, accident, or claim related to the Vendor’s participation in the event.
  4. The Vendor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Rotary Club of Stratford, the Town of Stratford, event sponsors, volunteers, and organizers from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from the Vendor’s participation, operations, products, or negligence.
  5. The Rotary Club of Stratford and the Town of Stratford are not responsible for damage, theft, loss of property, weather-related issues, cancellations, or injuries connected to Vendor participation.
  6. Food Vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance with minimum liability coverage of $1,000,000 naming the following as Additional Insureds:
  • Rotary Club of Stratford
  • Town of Stratford
  1. The event is held rain or shine.  The Festival would only be canceled in the event of a government declared emergency, road closures, or official public safety instructions directing residents to remain indoors.

By participating in the Stratford Day Main Street Festival, the Vendor acknowledges and agrees to these terms and accepts full responsibility for participation in the event.
