January 6, 2026 Holiday Party, No meeting
Last week, we celebrated our Holiday Party with the elementary schools in town. We had a special visit from Santa and his elves (thank you, Rosenberg family ;) ). Please see some pictures below.

A Week in Review
We hosted Lords Kitchen twice this month, on Wednesday, 12/17, and Monday, 12/22, and both were a great success. Thank you for all that you served. Phil Young catered on Wednesday, 12/17, and my friend Ralph from Salami on the Bottom catered on Monday, 12/22. To all the volunteers, thank you so much for all that you did. One individual once again showed what service above self means and the true character of Startford Rotary, Sheri Szymanski volunteered on her Birthday! We appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Barbara, thank you for your years of service with the Lord's Kitchen and for your dedication to working on this event.

The Rotary Holiday Party is scheduled for January 6th at LaFortuna's at 6 pm, $15.00 per person, Cash bar, Yankee Swap game ($25 Max). Online registration is live on ClubRunner.

The Four Way Test Speech Contest needs a venue that can accommodate 60 to 70 people. We are considering February 2nd or 21st for the event. If you know of a suitable location, please reach out to Jeff Krause or me. Your help in securing a host site would be greatly appreciated.
A district-managed grant is in the works for area 6, which includes Devon, Milford, West Haven, Orange, and Stratford. Each club will contribute to the matching grant. This will be for a meal-packing event that supports our District Governor, Stephanie Phillips' Food Initiative.
