On Monday evening, July 13, 2026, at the Stratford Town Council meeting, Mayor David Chess presented Rotarian Pat Patusky and Rotarian/District Governor Stephanie Phillips with an award on behalf of the Stratford Rotary Club in recognition of Rotary's outstanding work in helping make Stratford Day a tremendous success.
Their dedication, along with the efforts of countless Rotary volunteers and community partners, helped make this year's Stratford Day a record-breaking event with exceptional community attendance.

Future Rotarians in the Making! When the young people attending the South End Community Center Bike Rodeowere asked, “Who would like to become a Rotarian when you grow up?” these enthusiastic young people proudly stepped forward. Perhaps we are looking at some of the future members and leaders of Rotary!
More Future Rotarians! With a little friendly encouragement, another group of young people at the South End Community Center Bike Rodeo stepped forward when asked who might like to become a Rotarian when they grow up. We may have planted a few seeds for the next generation of Rotarians committed to Service Above Self!
Stratford Rotarians in Action! Members of the Stratford Rotary Club come together in the spirit of Service Above Self, lending their time and support to help make the South End Community Center Bike Rodeo a successful community event.
Stratford Police Officers Leading the Way! Officers from the Stratford Police Department took the lead at the South End Community Center Bike Rodeo, preparing and setting up the bicycle obstacle course before guiding the young riders through the course and helping them learn important bicycle safety skills.
Safety, Skills, and Community! Stratford Police Officers lead young riders through the Bike Rodeo course they helped set up for the event. Their hands-on involvement gave the children an opportunity to practice safe riding, build confidence on their bicycles, and have fun while learning valuable safety lessons.
Rotarian Maria Roman, Lead Person for the Bike Rodeo, works alongside fellow Rotarians during the South End Community Center Bike Rodeo, helping make the event a fun and memorable experience for the children and families in attendance.
