Stratford Rotary Club News/Information

February 17th, Regular Lunch Meeting

 Our inaugural breakfast meeting was a huge success. It was decided to hold the breakfast meeting at a few different spots to support other local businesses in Stratford. As of now, we will continue having the breakfast meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. 

 

     Congratulations to the Super Bowl Square winners: 1st Quarter Jeff, 2nd Quarter Janet Langel, 3rd Quarter Sheri, and Final Score Harold.  

    

    Congratulations to Amy Whistley, our new Chairman of the Grants Committee.  

    Ideas are still needed for the Epic Day of Service. All submissions need to be in by Friday.

Next Board Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 8 pm-9 pm.

District 7980 Meal Packing Event

Stephanie's initiative for food insecurity was realized with this multiclub food packing event, which was a complete success, feeding thousands. 

Even non rotary members joined in.

Upcoming Rotary Events

The upcoming events include Rib Night and Main Street Festive. We all need the full attention of our members, and the sooner the better to sign up for what you can help with. Early registration for these events for our club extremly assist with their success. 

Friday, February 20th - Four Way Test

6:30 pm at Sterling House. 

Area 1-6 will be on March 14th, 10 am-12 pm 

at the River Valley Senior Living, 

101 Oakview Dr, Trumbull, CT

Area 7-12 will be on March 21st, 10-12 

at the Norwich Free Academy/Sydeny frank Hall 

305 Broadway, Norwich, CT

Application fee is $160

Finals are April 25th at Stratford High School

March 31st: Club Social gathering we would like to make it a New Membership Night. We are asking everyone to bring one new potential member with them to enjoy the evening.

May 30th: District Recognition Dinner

June 6th: Main Street Festival 

June 27th: District Installation
