The Year Begins for our newly elected President Alvin O'Neal
An honor attending the 1st Meeting of our New Stratford Rotary President Alvin O'Neal and Celebrating Rotarian Gus's Birthday.
Gary Jacopian and Jeff Krause made Gus's 97th birthday a memorable occasion by purchasing a birthday cake and presenting it to him during the Rotary lunch meeting. Rotarians joined in celebrating this remarkable milestone and wishing Gus a very happy birthday.

Rotarian Stephanie Phillips, who also serves as our Rotary District Governor, presented the President's proposed budget for the July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 Rotary year for consideration by the membership.
Following discussion, the budget was presented for a vote and was adopted by the members present.
Rotarian Maria Roman shared information about the upcoming South End Community Center Bike Rodeo, which will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Birdseye Municipal Complex, 468 Birdseye Street, Stratford. She encouraged Rotarians to attend and support this community event, which promotes bicycle safety and provides a fun, educational experience for children and families.
If you are able to attend and volunteer, Maria asks that you arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to assist with the event.
