Annual Dictionary/Thesaurus Project.
Each year, members of our Club visit the 3rd graders in Stratford to deliver Dictionaries to each student and the 5th graders to deliver Thesauruses.
We like to send two Rotarians to each school, and you will have a lesson plan to share. We talk a little about the Rotary Club, what we do in our community and worldwide, and the 4 Way Test. Then we have some fun exploring the features of the dictionary and the thesaurus with the students. I have the following slots available for school visits (2 for each school). If you have not already signed up to attend one of these dates, email Sherri ASAP at sszymanski@stratfordlibrary.org to let her know which date you can help:
