The Community Grants Committee met and decided on the following to receive grants:
Stratford Forward - $1,000 for the student camera project
Stratford High School Music Department - $1,200 for a trip to Virginia Beach
Hall Neighborhood House - $1,200 for the Droneblock classroom bundle
VFW Post 9650 - $1,200 for wreaths across America Project
Sterling Community Center - $1,200 Food 4 Kids and Senior delivery projects

Annual Dictionary/Thesaurus Project.
We have completed multiple school vists and have successfully delivered Dictionaries to 3rd graders and Thesauruses to 5th graders. Thank you to all the Rotarians who have visited the schools, talked about the Rotary Club, what we do in our community and worldwide, and the 4 Way Test. Turkey Delivery:
This year‘s turkey delivery is scheduled for November 22, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. All Rotary members should go to Sterling House by 10 AM to pick up the turkeys and groceries to be delivered. This is an annual event in which Rotary supplies 140 turkeys to Sterling House for delivery on that day. The time commitment is usually 60-90 minutes. If you need any further information, don't hesitate to contact Joe.

Our 2025 Rotary Foundation Brunch will be an extraordinary gathering to celebrate last year‘s achievements by our clubs and our district related to the Rotary Foundation. Plus, we have the joy of bringing back Peace Fellow and Master Cellist, Diego Carneiro, to join us in the event.
Past Rotary International President and Immediate Past Chair of the Rotary Foundation, Mark Maloney, who achieved $2.025 billion in legacy giving during his tenure, will provide an inspirational keynote as we continue supporting Rotary growth in legacy giving.

The Norman K. Parsells Award is an annual honor presented by the Rotary Clubs of Bridgeport, Derby-Shelton, Devon, Fairfield, Milford, Monroe, Orange, Stratford, and Trumbull in District 7980 to recognize outstanding service and commitment to both Rotary and the local community.
