Hello C4A Supporters,
Here's an update on the container headed to Zambia. Our 40 foot container is now resting in Hong Kong. This is the first of several transfers from ship to ship that will see our container to Africa. Chiwan is the port area of Hong Kong where containers load and unload.
The estimated day for the arrival in Dar es Salaam of our container is November 3. This date can, and most likely will, change as the transit continues. Once it lands in Tanzania, Kansanshi Mining PLC has generously donated resources to transport the container from Dar es Salaam to Solwezi, Zambia—a 21-day road trip.
