On Saturday, November 6, 2021, Rotary club members participated in Markham's Remembrance Day Ceremonies. President Anthony Abhumhen and Past President Neil Thomas placed the Rotary wreath at the 11:00 MDVA Service at the Cenotaph. The Markham Remembrance Day Service is organized each year by the Markham District Veterans Association and is held at the revitalized Veterans Square and Cenotaph in historic Markham Village, to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for Canada's freedom.
