☀️ A Beautiful Day of Community, Service & Giving Back! 🚗🧽
Our Rotary Club of Markham-Unionville Charity Car Wash brought our community together for a fun-filled sunny Sunday — all for a great cause!
A Sunny Sunday of Service, Smiles & Community
What happens when you bring together sunshine, soap, sandwiches, volunteers, firefighters, and an incredible community? You get a Sunday to remember!
On July 12, 2026, the Rotary Club of Markham-Unionville Charity Car Wash was a fun-filled day of community spirit and giving back. Under beautiful sunny skies, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their sponges and hoses, and got to work washing cars — all in support of making a positive impact in our community.
But this wasn't just about getting cars clean. It was about neighbours helping neighbours, meeting new friends, sharing plenty of laughs, and seeing what can happen when a community comes together for a good cause.
We could not have done it alone.
A very special thank you to the City of Markham for providing us with a space to host our charity car wash and helping make this community event possible.
A huge thank you to the Markham Fire Department for coming out and lending a hand with the car wash. Having our local firefighters join us made the day even more memorable and showed the incredible spirit of service that exists throughout Markham.
Thank you to Banh Mi House for generously providing a delicious Vietnamese sandwich with every donated car wash. After all that washing and scrubbing, those sandwiches were definitely appreciated!
Thank you to Eats in Markham for helping promote the event and spread the word throughout our community.
And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the day such a success. From washing and drying cars to welcoming guests and helping behind the scenes, every helping hand made a difference.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out and donated. Your generosity is what made this event meaningful. Every car that pulled in, every contribution, and every show of support helps the Rotary Club of Markham-Unionville continue giving back and creating a positive impact in our community.
It was a beautiful reminder of what Rotary means when we say People of Action.
One sunny Sunday. One community coming together. And many people helping make a difference.
Thank you, Markham! ❤️
Service Above Self.
