MURotary's 5th Annual University Preparation Fair

The Markham-Unionville Rotary Club, in conjunction with American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Education Power Inc., is proudly organizing its 5th annual University Preparation Fair on Sunday, October 18th from 11am to 5pm. Similar to all of our many activities and vocational services, our mission is to support and enrich our community. Specifically, the goal of this Fair is to help Grade 9 to Grade 12 students gain further insight into some of the professional fields that may be of interest to them. In the past, our University Preparation Fair has allowed students to learn from the experiences of our mentors, ultimately providing students with the opportunity to make informed decisions going forth in their future education.
The event will include a seminar discussing the university application process and supplementary applications of some programs. Once the seminar portion is completed, our mentors will provide one-on-one guidance for students. Our mentors come from a wide range of educational backgrounds and professional fields, such as accounting, biology, business, chemistry, computer science, education, engineering, English literature, life science, mathematics, medicine, and physics.
