Big Brothers Big Sisters - For 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been making a meaningful difference in lives of at-risk boys and girls through their organizations well-known and  highly respected community-based mentoring programs.
 
                     
 
 
FEAT - Fostering, Empowering, Advocating Together …  a non-profit organization which supports at-risk children affected by parental incarceration.
   
                     
 
 
360Kids - A community based organization empowering children, youth and families through prevention, education and advocacy to enhance their overall well being.  Providing safe and supportive housing and programs for youth who can no longer live at home.
 
     
                     
 
Girls on the Run - A youth development program which combines training for a non-competitive 5K run/walk with an interactive curriculum to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles for 8 - 13 year old girls.
 
     
 
Pencils for Kids - An all volunteer charity dedicated to partnering with communities to deliver support to students, build schools and libraries, provide classroom resources and develop educational and training programs.
 
     
               
 
Centre for Dreams  - Developing Relationships with Exceptional Adults in Modern Society, a program designed to enhance the knowledge of their clients who have intellectual disabilities; empowering them to become independent and dignified members.Providing opportunities and the means for youths and adults to focus on their abilities, and not their disabilities, through educational, social and life skill programs.
   
                     
 
 
CNIB - A registered charity, providing community based support, knowledge and a national voice to ensure Canadians who are blind or partially sighted have the confidence, skills and opportunities to fully participate in life.
 
     
                     
 
Evergreen Hospice - A non-profit agency providing supportive care to people of all ages in Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville who are dealing with a life-threatening illness, death and bereavement care for family and friends.
 
     
                     
 
Milliken High School - An alternative program focusing on teaching students with unique approaches to learning and studying.
         
     
                     
 
Participation House - Founded by the Cerebral Palsy Parent Council, this organization became highly respected and effective in awakening public interest and understanding of Cerebral Palsy.  Serving more than 100 adults with a variety of physical and developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy and spina bifida.
       
   
Rift Valley HIV Orphan School in Kenya - This water and sanitation project brings rainwater storage tanks, new latrines and health programs to six of the poorest schools in the Rift Valley area, Kenya.
 
             
   
Markham Stouffville Hospital - Funded a neo-natal incubator that helped Markham's tiniest patients who have complex needs.  The neonatal intensive care unit continues to need these advanced technology incubators to provide consistently controlled thermal environments and warmth.
